To participate in the IACHR project, students must first write on to Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Students accepted to the International and Comparative Law Review may then indicate their interest in the IACHR project.
Rather than completing a Note or Comment for the International and Comparative Law Review, IACHR Staff Members compose several summaries of Inter-American Court of Human Rights cases. Every IACHR staffer is practically guaranteed publication in our online journal, so summaries are subject to multiple revisions, and Staff Members receive extensive feedback and support from Editors.
The IACHR Project is an excellent opportunity for students interested in publication, learning about the formation and functionality of international law and foreign governments, serving the public interest, and contributing to the development of international law.
